Araliya Tutors provides an online platform connecting students with tutors for:

• Language learning (Sinhala, English, and other languages)
• Academic tutoring across various subjects
• Professional development courses
• Online learning materials and resources

3. User Accounts

To use our services, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Booking and Payments

When booking tutoring sessions:

• Payment is required at the time of booking
• Prices are set by individual tutors and displayed in your selected currency
• Service fees may apply to transactions
• Refund policies are subject to our cancellation terms

5. Cancellation Policy

For session cancellations:

• 24 hours notice required for full refund or rescheduling
• Less than 24 hours notice may result in forfeit of payment
• Makeup sessions available within 30 days for eligible cancellations
• Tutors must provide 24 hours notice for cancellations

6. Tutor Responsibilities

Tutors on our platform agree to:

• Provide accurate information about qualifications and experience
• Conduct sessions professionally and punctually
• Maintain student confidentiality
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Provide notice for cancellations or schedule changes

7. Student Responsibilities

Students agree to:

• Attend scheduled sessions on time
• Treat tutors with respect and professionalism
• Provide honest feedback and reviews
• Not share or distribute tutoring materials without permission

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including course materials, lesson plans, and educational resources, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to circumvent payment systems
• Post false or misleading information
• Interfere with the Platform's operation

10. Limitation of Liability

Araliya Tutors acts as a platform connecting students and tutors. We are not responsible for the quality of tutoring services, disputes between users, or any damages arising from use of the Platform. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Platform will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
